Did you ever dream of photographing individual snowflakes but thought the process was too complex and expensive?  Dream no longer!

Snow Studio IV makes it possible for anyone with any camera to capture beautiful snowflake macro portraits like this one taken with a Canon Powershot SX130.

Or like this one, taken with a Nikon Coolpix S550.

Snow Studio IV comes complete with everything you'll need to shoot snowflake macros . . . everything that is except you, your camera, and falling snow!

As the designer of Snow Studio IV, it's my pleasure and responsibility to insure that you're successful in your efforts to capture snowflake macro images, so please review and consider the 5 issues below before you place an order.

1 - Do you have access to an unheated, enclosed structure such as a garage, porch, barn or shed to protect your photography from wind and blowing snow?

2 - Do you have the ability to work in temperatures below freezing for long periods of time and often with your gloves removed?

3 - Snowflake photography must be done when the temperature is 28F (-2C) and colder so you must live in a place where winter temps are routinely below freezing.

4 - Are you a patient and persistent person?  Some storms will produce no photogenic flakes while others will produce an abundance.  The patient person will have several photo opportunities over the course of a winter.

5 - The average snowflake is only 3mm; about the size of the date on a US dime, so your camera must be capable of the magnification shown in the photo below.  If you are using a compact camera, the LBS Lens will give you the magnification you need. If you are using a DSLR or mirrorless, look into the Raynox DCR-250.  If you are using a cell phone, look into the Olloclip.
